Mental Health Services

Care Management is the coordination of overall care for our clients, as we work to help them improve and restore their mental health and their ability to function in the community. Care managers may assist with Social Security benefits, medical benefits, housing, and crisis management. They may refer clients to job training  support groups, and other specialized services. Care managers collaborate with family members, medical professionals and other service providers to make sure everyone gets the best care possible.


Homeless Services

These services work to identify homeless people in the community with mental illness, and to get them the help they need. Learn more about the various teams involved.

Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment

This is a specialized treatment program for people who have both a mental illness and a substance abuse disorder.

Community Mental Health Center

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services North Office is a certified Community Mental Health Center and therefore operates through federal and state funds made possible by the Community Mental Health Act. The purpose of these funds to make diagnosis and treatment available to low-income and indigent individuals. The services are either free or under a sliding-scale. These services are available to people of all ages who do not have health insurance.

Medicare

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services North Office accepts Medicare, a federal health insurance program for people age 65 and older and people with disabilities.

Medicare covers a wide range of mental health services.

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) covers inpatient mental health care services you get in a hospital. Part A covers your room, meals, nursing care, and other related services and supplies.

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) helps cover mental health services that you would generally get outside of a hospital, including visits with a psychiatrist or other doctor, visits with a clinical psychologist or clinical social worker, and lab tests ordered by your doctor.
