About Homeless Empowerment Program

Upon intake: Clients are referred to HEP Dental & Wellness Clinic for a checkup and/or to receive treatment.

An on-site medical and mental health assessment is performed through partnerships with Morton Plant Mease Outreach and Baycare Health Systems through the HEP Dental & Wellness Clinic.

Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) Insurance Coverage For Mental Health

Obamacare purchased from the Health Care Marketplaces covers Mental Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Under the Health Care Law there are 10 categories of benefits. Mental Health Care and Substance Abuse Treatment are two of the 10.
