Good Shepherd Clinic provides medical services for adult residents of Clayton County who do not qualify for Medicare or Medicaid, do not have private insurance, and can not afford to see a doctor.

You qualify to be seen at the clinic if:
1.) you are a current Clayton County resident,
2.) you are uninsured (including medicaid and medicare),
3.) your annual income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level (we can help you determine this)
4.) you must be 18 years of age or older
You are required to bring the following documentation to EVERY appointment:
1.) Photo I.D.
2.) Proof of Clayton County residency
* Examples include: A copy of your current lease; a letter or bill sent to your current address
3.) Proof of income
*Examples include: Your most recent W-2; a check stub; bank statement; income letter from Dept. of Labor
To make an appointment at the clinic you must call or come by the clinic during our regular business hours.

2.) To request an appointment in person, our current hours are: Mondays 2-7pm & Wednesdays 10am-4pm
**FYI: We receive several hundred phone calls each week. If you have difficulty reaching us by phone, we suggest you stop by the clinic to make your appointment. Please be aware that you may have to wait up to one month for the next available appointment.
Obamacare purchased from the Health Care Marketplaces covers Mental Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Under the Health Care Law there are 10 categories of benefits. Mental Health Care and Substance Abuse Treatment are two of the 10.
If you have Affordable Care Act Coverage you will have mental health care coverage.
