The Heartland Health Center has a sliding fee scale for those who do not have health insurance. This fee will include a visit to the supplier, X-rays and laboratories, if ordered. The sliding scale is based on household size and income. Proof of income will be required on your first visit. If you do not have income, you will need a certificate from your supporter. If you are prescribed medication, their staff will work with you to make sure you get your medication at an affordable price.

Obamacare purchased from the Health Care Marketplaces covers Mental Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Under the Health Care Law there are 10 categories of benefits. Mental Health Care and Substance Abuse Treatment are two of the 10.
