The mission of the IHR Counseling Services is to provide a continuum of quality mental health and substance use services ranging from education and prevention through treatment and aftercare for residents of Livingston County.

Institute for Human Resources - IHR Counseling Services receives federal grants destined for mental health services. This means that Institute for Human Resources - IHR Counseling Services either recieved money to obtain certification or training for its employees or it has recieved money to offer services such as suicide prevention, telehealth programs, or other behavioral initiatives.
