Medical Care:
Care available for those seeking: adult care, infant, child, and adolescent care, behavioral or mental health services, pre-natal/obstetrical care (East Providence site), Optometry (Newport site), and Dental (Newport site). Services are available for those without health insurance. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. In addition, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medical Assistance and other private insurances are also accepted.
Other services that are offered include: teen time walk-in daily, assistance with applying for health insurance, home visits by members of the care team, pregnancy testing, immunizations for infants, children, and adults, care for acute illness, health screenings and general community education and referrals.
East Bay Family Health Care Newport operates under a sliding fee scale payment model. What this means to you is that East Bay Family Health Care Newport provides their services even to patients who cannot afford care (such as low-income or who people who need to self-pay). Patients will pay according to their income. Be prepared to provide information on your household income.
