Natividad offers comprehensive mental health services with 24-hour care. Our state-licensed psychiatric center has 22 beds, and is a locked inpatient facility. We offer acute mental health care in a safe, structured, pleasant and secure environment. Our services include psychiatric, medical, and diagnostic evaluations. We also provide skilled interventions by licensed and experienced staff, patient education and medication management, group therapy, and daily psychiatric sessions. We know how important family involvement and support is in health care, and we offer family education and support. Our care also includes comprehensive discharge planning and referral services.

programs, patients pay a reduced portion
of Natividad bills.

What this means to you is that Natividad Medical Center Mental Health provides their services even to patients who cannot afford care (such as low-income or who people who need to self-pay). Natividad Medical Center Mental Health accepts Medicare, a federal health insurance program for people age 65 and older and people with disabilities.
Medicare covers a wide range of mental health services.
Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) covers inpatient mental health care services you get in a hospital. Part A covers your room, meals, nursing care, and other related services and supplies.
Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) helps cover mental health services that you would generally get outside of a hospital, including visits with a psychiatrist or other doctor, visits with a clinical psychologist or clinical social worker, and lab tests ordered by your doctor.

All state Medicaid programs provide some mental health services. Natividad Medical Center Mental Health accepts Medicaid, a joint federal and state program that helps with medical costs for some people with low incomes and limited resources. Medicaid programs vary from state to state.
