Special Medical Programs include the following: Best Chance Network Program (Women's Cancer Screening), OB-GYN Services, Substance Abuse/Mental Health Counseling Services, Case Management Services, Infectious Disease (HIV) Services, Pediatric Kidney Disease (by referral), School/Sports Physicals, Well Child Check-Ups and Immunizations, Psychiatric Services, Spanish Interpretation, On-Site Pharmacy Services, Medication Assistance Programs, and Transportation Services.
They provide quality primary care services without regard for a patient's ability to pay and serves as a community resource for eliminating health disparities.
Sumter Family Health Center operates under a sliding fee scale payment model. What this means to you is that Sumter Family Health Center provides their services even to patients who cannot afford care (such as low-income or who people who need to self-pay). Patients will pay according to their income. Be prepared to provide information on your household income.
