This organization provides a dynamic entry point for homeless individuals to access multiple services in one centralized site in the southern area of downtown Dallas. The Emergency Care and Housing program acts as a drop-in shelter for people who experience long-term homelessness.
Additional care there includes: Behavioral Health Care, Primary Health Care, Recreational Activities, Meals, Laundry, and Storage.
The Transitional Care and Housing program there provides shelter for people who may be exiting hospitals, needing supportive services, or seeking employment.
Additional care there includes: Care Management, Job Seeker Services, Housing Assistance, Legal Services, Mail Services, Kennel, Mental Health Care, Community Service Supervision, Jail Diversion/Reentry Services, Veterans Benefits Assistance, and Social Security Benefits Assistance.
Obamacare purchased from the Health Care Marketplaces covers Mental Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Under the Health Care Law there are 10 categories of benefits. Mental Health Care and Substance Abuse Treatment are two of the 10.
If you have Affordable Care Act Coverage you will have mental health care coverage.
