Fees and Payment
New River Health Association (NRHA) accepts private insurance, private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP and Tricare. If you are with a managed health plan please check with us to be sure we participate with your plan. If you are uninsured, underinsured or out of work we will work with you to arrange a method of payment for services on a sliding scale according to income.
Cost should not prevent you from receiving care. New River Health Associaton (NRHA) also provides free and reduced cost services through public health programs including family planning, children's health services, breast and cervical cancer screening and black lung clinic services.
When you come for your appointment bring your insurance card (private, Medicaid, Medicare, etc.) and be prepared to pay co-payments for services not covered by your insurance.
North Fayette Family Health Center operates under a sliding fee scale payment model. What this means to you is that North Fayette Family Health Center provides their services even to patients who cannot afford care (such as low-income or who people who need to self-pay). Patients will pay according to their income. Be prepared to provide information on your household income.
